Safety in Scouting

Safet Issues

This website is to allow easy access for members to gain safety information for most Scouting activities, either to provide a safe premises or to understand the possible dangers when outdoors. Information is gathered form a wide range of sources and is to be used to aid in planning safer programs for our members.

  • Near Miss Form - This is an unplanned event that did not result in normally reportable injury, illness or damage - but had the potential to do so
  • Purple Card - The purple card provides support for safe Scouting and guidance in the procedures for dealing with an emergency.
